I will start making a manifold for my R.

My idea is to make an sidewinder like Lovefab use to do ......

Please post pictures of Sidewinder Manifolds so that I can inspire myself.

Rob, did it have any bracing to the engine or gearbox? I'm just thinking it's a long way over holding all that weight on a very hot manifold. Was wondering if it could sag at all?

Yes the bracket mounts to the gearbox/engine bolts and is out of site I'll find another picture for you in a moment once I fire up the laptop.

In my case no intercooler mate.

I was thinking about the water to air intercooler.

But will it be good for road / track use?

Is it better that the classic air to air?

It was fine for a road car and allowed me to keep the car looking very standard, But If I used full boost it would start to knock back the ignition after about 30 seconds so I never used it on track with the charge cooler, I would think it would of coped better with less boost and a proper water reservoir fitted, Now days I think the simplicity of a air to air cooler is the best option, I've fitted an uprated top mount of my new one just to keep it looking box standard.
