Turbo gaskets?

I have just had a look around the forum and cant find what im looking for, not even sure i have posted this in the right section?

But anyway i used 2 own an S14a and the turbo gaskets failed twice in the time i had it. I know the SR20DET is also used in the GTI-R so is this a common fault on these as well?

It's more of a bolts coming lose problem than a gasket failure problem mate, Just something pulsar owners learn to live with lol.

Lol, yeah indeed Rob. Not a problem tho.

They failed on the 200 because the exhaust is so ridgid (Probably the same as these), when u give them full chat the exhaust pulls on the tubby and they come away, idealy u should have some flexy pipe on the downpipe. 1st time they went 2 bits of stud had actually snapped off!!

Another q, these dont have a VVT spocket do they?
