turbo boost *PLEASE HELP*

it takes until about 6000rpms to pull 1 bar of boost, even with the actuator hose of its no different,please help

Boost Leak - Check all hoses, manifold and broken clips for leaks...

Busted Turbo - Could be the turbo but then its more likely to be chucking out the smoke so you'd have noticed that by now... Even then it doesn't take until 6000rpm...

There are a few other things but check for boost leaks first...

Try fitting a decent boost gauge as well if you don't already have one.

Also check the manifold to turbo join isn't leaking as they often come loose (or the exhaust blowing anywhere else.)
