Tuners...

I hear some of the better known tuners dont want to fit parts bought from somewhere other than themselves.

Whats the general view on this?

I had a long chat with a very well know tuner and he didnt manage to convince me that there where any other reasons apart from making more cash... although he tried.

In the end he himself admitted it was cash related and he simply made more money from customers who had to buy there parts from them because they wanted to have the work done by *insert well known skyline garage here*

Whats peoples feelings on this?

why ive just had the work done in japan before the car is shipped

Tomei certaintly dont, wanted a 2mm head gasket with my
engine but tomei dont do 2mm, asked if they could fit a different
brand and was politely told to get fucked

wasnt done by Tomei but not surpised Tomei wouldnt fit your 2mm

i think im going to have to use Abbey Motorsport for a couple of finishing touches but that can wait until next year im not that fussed

the only parts that were done were by Top Secret

wasnt done by Tomei but not surpised Tomei wouldnt fit your 2mm

i think im going to have to use Abbey Motorsport for a couple of finishing touches but that can wait until next year im not that fussed
