transfer box ?

:?: melted rear diff last week replaced it car feels terrible to steer also feels as if breaks are on but all gear selection great new clutch fited 1000k ago also had gear box recon would like to know if transfer box is problem any :idea: pls

am lost mate,, you fitted a new clutch 1000k (1,000,000) miles a ago !!!!!!

Have you jacked the car up and checked the brakes arent on?
Did you check the diff before fitting?
How bad does it feel as if the brakes are on? Possably the wrong diff ratio?

all breaks a1 no binding. the diff got so hot blew all oil out of breather and also melted seals. changed diff problem still there :?:

so it started doing this with the old diff then and replacing it hasnt fixed the problem?
At a guess then the centre diff may have some how locked up causing the front/rear diffs to wind up.
