Tmic seal(rubber)

rite! iv been reading through some old posts, and after fitting some spacers to the rear and removing the rear bonnet seal, i was wondering if it would be a good idea to remove all the surround rubber from underneath the bonnet apart from the back scoop part!

anybody tried this ??

If you have a front mount I can't see it doing any harm as all the carbon fibre bonnets don't have it.

My old one i took it off when i polished my rocker. So you could see it through the bonnet.
But if it had been sitting and it had been raining.
Their would be alot of water lying on the manifold and would smoke for a while.
Also i put a plastic cover over the dizzy so it couldnt get wet and also the leads
