ticking under boost

just wondered if anyobdy had the same problem
i get a ticking from the passager side foot well when im on boost when off boost nothing and ive tried to trick it if u run full boost on controler it ticks like maad then if i turn control off it goes away stright away it doenst seem to be doing anything but is anoying realy

Yep, Sounds like the boost controller to me too.
My Profec B's solenoid is mounted on the passenger side of the engine bay. It makes quite a noticeable ticking sound as it actuates, which is more noticeable on a higher boost setting, presumably as it has to work harder to bleed more air.

You could try turning your stereo up, that might get rid of the ticking noise :wink:

it could be the boost solenoid ticking if its faulty, my evc unit did this
do you have any problems with boost spikes or it not holding boost?
try fitting a bleed valve or turning boost controller off and see if it does it
