been looking at a new dump valve and ive only ever seen these attached to the intercooler pipe, can i still attach one of these to the stock rubber pipe below which goes below the plenum? dont know if the position makes a difference but thought i should ask first.

Thanks

If you can get one that comes with a fitting for the hose, rather than a flange that needs welding, yes.

I think Tial usually make parts for high boost applications where hose clamps aren't good enough; that's why they all come with v-band fittings and weld-on bosses. - I don't think they ship with a fitting for attaching it to a hose, but you could make one by welding the boss to something else.

thanks for the reply is it much of s difference to have it welded to the intercooler pipe?, assume i just blank off the old dumpvalve? i also see they come in a range of boost pressures so which would i need if im running 14.5psi (1bar)

10 PSI [Q.10B]
11 PSI [Q.11B]
6 PSI [Q.6B]
8 PSI [Q.8B]

Thanks again
