Throttle body balancing

Has anyone ever done it? I've just had a good look through the service manual and can't find anything about it. The only thing I could find involved adjusting the rods on the throttles. Nothing about vacuum, nipples and screws:?

Do you just want the highest vacuum you can get across all 4 and is it best to set it at idle or higher revs say 3-4000rpm?

if it's anything like bike TB's you're simply after equal balance. On small engines (600 cc) that rev to 10k+, any small difference in TBs makes for vibrations. Which are quite noticeable when you're sitting on the frame that's bolted directly to the engine.

Not sure how important it'd be on a significantly larger and heavier engine with great big engine mounts.

balance them up on idle, your ideal is to get the needle's to register nigh on the same at tickover (highest vacuem) and that will give you smoother running at small throttle openings, read up on it on the bike forums and such as it is quite easy to do but also fuck up.
