Can anyone tell me where the water temp sender is that sends the signal to the gauge? I've been changing my intercooling piping and when I drove the car after this the needle on the gauge was jumping around everywhere, so I must have knocked a wire off or something. Any ideas[?]

If you look in the engine bay from the drivers side, under the throttle bodies there is a casting with 2 multiplugs coming from it.
This is the coolant temp. sensor.
Its not that easy to see let alone get to, maybe a loose connection in the harness is possible.
