We have been speaking to Lee from The Modifiers and Chris Mann to enter GTi-R’s for TOTB. I am please to announce that we are running “Team GTi-R” for 2007. Each club will have 5 cars each to represent GTiR's and this will hopefully give “Team GTi-R” maximum points.

For 2007 the event takes place on Sunday 29th July at Elvington Airfield near York.

We need cars for both drag and handling disciplines. To qualify for drag racing you need to have a proven minimum time of 11.8 and we will need to see a timing slip to back this up. For the handling section your car must be set up to track spec.

If you think you have what it takes then please post up here or contact myself or Rishi to discuss. Entrants need to be signed up A.S.A.P so please be quick if you want to enter.

Just as a pointer there is FastFest show on 3rd June

Even their site mentioned that it is a good time for people and clubs to have people out to prove that then can meet the standard to qualify for TOTB

Just an idea if anyone wants to try to qualify for TOTB....

I think that this would be a great time for the GTiROC to have a knockout/trial sessions. 8)

FastFest is the replacement show for Max Power Live and is held at Santa Pod. It's just a rip off, of USC if you ask me.

Just so people know there is club parking for GTiRs but spaces are limited to 10 cars for the GTiROC.
