Sticky Odometer

Hello all.....

Just got a GTiR and noticed that my odometer is sticking quite badly, that is to say that it isn't clocking up any miles most of the time

If you try and reset the trip sometimes it frees up the odometer and it works for a while and then stops....

Is this a common fault on GTiR's ?

Are there any things to try before I have to pull the dash apart and change it ?

dash out i'm afraid to free up the gears, mine did it not long after getting it
