steering wheel shaking uder braking!

hi people, when i brake the steering wheel shakes quiet bad, doesnt do it under about 15mph, but once above this doesnt matter what speed, it shakes quiet bad! feels like it could be bushes in the steering colum? thanks

mabe mate but chack the runout of your discs. i had this when my discs weren`t located flat

also when they`ve not been located flat they can wear so they`ve got difference thicknesses around the circumference. Causing the shuddering effect

I would go with warped disc had the same problem with my p10 egt.

discs or bearings being bad at the front. i had the same problem

I agree with the majority..... warped front disks.
Try braking really gently when coasting to a stand still... you will feel the car brake then coast, then brake ..coast until it comes to a stop.
Disks are cheap.... if it's OE disks you could upgrade by switching to black diamond.

yer i put the black diamond discs on mine with matching pads... very good for the price and soooo much better than standard brake setup. Shame the discs don't stay black for long though :lol:

ok cheers people! its got brembo callipers on the front with 305mm discs, where can i get discs from? ive looked everywhere!!:sad:

definately warped brakes, probably find small hairline cracks on discs.

Change the discs and pads if worn, and you will be fine.
