just rebuilt teh bottom end on my starlet gt turbo with forged pistons forged rods etc.
done about 300km now and the other night went to the cinema, came out and when started the car up it was missfiring. got home and plugs were black. got the blow torch on them and then ran fine. next morning it did it again. noticed theres a little bit of oil ontop of the pistons, no.1 and no.2 seems worse and the plugs are black on them 2 but no.3 and no.4 are white still (but still have oil on piston top)
it smokes a little on start up,when cold or when been sitting for a while.
just wondering what it might be? can only think stem steals at the moment (compression check shows all the same)
would ****ed stem seals cause this problem?
