Yeah I'm hoping pulling the pcv system off my R will help cure the high idle i have 1000-1200
can't seem to get it lower than 980 tho

If you have a Nissan Consult (it's the service tool for the car that plugs into the ECU) you can stop the timing from advancing (i.e. locking it) so that the base timing can be set.
TPS = Throttle Position Sensor - It's that green thing on the end of the throttle bodies which measures where the throttle is and reports it to the ECU.
hi,

i did try that method but couldn't get any good result. which control i have to use with the nissan consult(datascan software) to "lock" the timing ?
i tought it was with that screen(base idle ajustement "start") :
what are the step, warm engine, unplug tps, lock timing, then turn the dist. cap until 20 degree ?
