Standard service parts?

I've had my R nearly 3 months now, covered 5k miles and plan on giving it a service.

I am mechanically capable of doing most jobs, used to service my 200sx myself and had the gearbox turbo off myself.

Can someome give me a guide to the service parts I should replace please? This will be it's first proper service since being in the UK as I don't consider the dealer I bought it from did a proper job. [:(!]

My list so far:

Oil & Oil Filter
Distributor cap, I guess I need a rotor arm as well?
Fuel Filter

I'm sure I'm forgetting loads of bits but it's Friday afternoon and I've started drinking already. [:D]

I have an aftermarket air filter (I've already replaced the element) and am running Denso spark plugs.

I'll be replacing/uprating [;)] other parts as they wear out.

i change the oil every 3000 miles max

I thought Nissan recommended every 5000miles?

I haven't done any track days or 1/4 miles, just normal work driving so 5k intervals should be ok.

Nissan do recommend every 5k, but if you really love your car then you'll change that interval to 4k or even every 3k just to keep it in top shape.[;)]

[:0] Every 1500000 miles? [:0]

You sure don't mean every 1.5k miles or 1500 miles? [;)]

gearbox, transfer-box and rear diff.

Have a good look at the cv and drive shaft gaiters whilst your at it to see what condition they're in.

Ex-gtir spotted that one of mine is on the way out at the weekend, so i know i'll need to sort that now.

Could also give the oil seperator a good clean out.

Thanks, they'll definitely come in handy.

I guess the only place to get parts from is a Nissan garage? The money grabbing bastards charged me £3 for a bloody packet of plastic trim screws last time! [V]
