Stand alone data logging systems

Are there any out there that you could use with the standard set up or do you have to go the uprated ECU route?

You could lfit and log a WB lambda easily enough but without referencing it back to the ECU's map I'm not sure what you can do with it. Doesn't the e-manage ultimate allow datalogging? If it did that might be the cheapest way, even if you didn't get the car mapped.

Standard data logging systems.. Well for a start your stock ECU has the full ability to log everything it does with the correct lead and software. Both e-manage blue and ultimate also have extensive data logging capabilities. However you can get the software and lead for Nissan ECUs for about £60-70ish.

It all depends what data you are after. I used the zeitronx one and logged AFR(wideband) TPS, Boost, RPM, EGT and 1 user input. I plugged in my AIT.
My next one will be a PLx R500 with the added feature of logging and hearing-on-speakers knock + it has a real time G sensor to measure the bhp/torque.

All these can be used as stand-alone on a standard car.
