Found these pictures on the Yahoo groups list. Anyone reconise it ?

Going by the shape of it and length of the runners it looks like it's a direct copy of the standard manifold.

There is a good argument for not having long primaries as well, because the temp drop means less pressure at the turbine and hence more lag... and you can't really pulse tune a turbo manifold anyway so theres not much point in having equal length primaries...

That one looks like all the benefits of nice flow without any of the problems 8)

There was test done alittle while ago of a log style manifold (very short primaries) against a proper tuned equal length (long primaries) one and the log style spooled the turbo up some 400rpm quicker but lost quite abit of power at top end. Its was on the sr20forum probably 2 years or so back.

i was going to say theres a good reason why the chap that did my manifolld spends hours..actually days...trying to get the primaries equal length but i couldn't be arsed...lol
