are all sr20det crankshafts the same and can they be used in any sr20det block? weather gtir s13, s14,s15?

No.

But iirc you can use a sr20de 53j crank in the gtir block but you have to use smaller flywheel bolts.

This may mean using collars to make the flywheel bolt holes smaller.

Do the rods fit.

As gtir cranks use 19mm bearing and others use 17mm bearings do the gtir rods fit on the smaller crank or are they different rods ie thinner than the gtir rods to suit the 53J crank?

I found the 19mm rods didn't fit on 17mm cranks but that was aftermarket rods....not sure if standard rods will fit....

I'm sure I read somewhere that you need to buy over-sized shells to get the rods to fit. - I can't remember where though.
