speedo signal

got my delimiter today. followed the instructions to the letter. the speedo doesnt work at all now and my car is still limited.

the green wire on the central large connector is the signal wire ? am i correct?
or is it the green wire on the small white connector that attaches to the speeedo motor that powers the needle ?

all my converter has on it is.
+12v wire
-0v ground wire
kmh signal in wire
mph signal out wire

it says connect the kmh in signal at the green wire at the loom then connect mph out wire to the green wire at speedo head.
done that no luck. have i missed something
