Speedo Ain't Working

One of the bulds went out on the back of my dash, so I took the dash apart and then put it back togther. Now the speedo isn't working at all. May it be due to the black cable running from the gearbox to the dash???

Is the rest of the dash okay? All the warning lights and other gauges work? Does the odometer still count?

The rest is working fine, I haven't taken the car out on the road just up and down the drive and it isn't moving at all.

unless u have a long driveway you aint going to really notice the speedo moving

If you're delimited, check the wiring for that hasn't been disturbed.

yea the car really needs to move a bit for the speedo to work mate, iv bin scared by this sometimes but just take it down the road if u can to make sure but i bet its ok.
