I was wondering...
I'm from Norway and just bought a Pulsar from Japan, It's limited to around 180kph, and I was wondering if I would get rid of the problem if I bought a used speedo from an non limited norwegian sunny?

Any ideas about this?

No the limiters are programmed into the ECU.

if your get an after market computer you will automatically get rid of the limiter.

aslo there are speed cut defenders on the market aswell.

But I want the readings to still display KPH. If I understand correctly the delimiter only divides the the input signal by 1,6 and thereby setting the speed limit to 180 mph. :?
Am i right?
There is no other way to get rid of it besides the delimiter?

Oh, and wich aftermarket ECU would you recomand to buy? It would have to suit my planned uppgrades wich is FIC, high flow fuelpump, fuel pressure regulator (is that the same as power boost valve?) 3" exhaust and KN filter...

Does anyone have a picture of a car with the FIC they provide at GTIR spares?

If they are your only planned mods I suggest looking for a speed cut defender.

A new computer suggestions would be the usual

Power Fc
Autronic
Haltec
Chip Torque (however with this everytime you change anything you need to re tune the chip)
