Thanks for the suggestion. How helpful of you. You know that a high percentage of the appeal of the car was the community behind it. Its responses like that which spoil it.ONCE A FUCKIN GEN
why don't you get a frikkin measuring stick out and measure the feckin bits you need to measure to suss out what frikkin speakers will frikkin fit.
Once you have sussed out what size speaker is gonna fit you will then have to go through the speaker manufacturers catalogues to find out what speakers will fit.
It's easy once you know how to do it.
use your imagination, do you want them fitted under the parcel shelf sides or on top, what make of speaker do you really like and do they do them in the size you need/want.Hi I'd like to know what speakers on the strut tops look like next to the parcel shelf
OK I can work with that. My idea was to fit some Alpine SPX-13ref component speakers in the strut tops and have the tweeters mounted higher towards the ceiling but facing towards the front of the car. I will have the Alpine SPX-17ref in the front of the car discretely fitted. The head unit will be the Alpine CDA-9887 with Audyssey sound correction (calibrated using imprint) and the amplifier will be the Alpine PMX-6. The car will be dynamatted using the dynamat superlite.I'm sorry but i don't agree.

you might not like what other people like...you're an audiophile and as one you'll know that different speaker manufacturers voice their speakers differently, maybe your choice of amp doesn't work with their speaker etc etc
Come up with something that might inspire others instead of just following the crowd.....
I'm interested to see what it looks like finished and to hear others opinions on placement. I know its frowned upon here to have hifi in your car, however I believe that if done properly it can complement it. On the other side, there's always a monotonous trip to be done at some point and a nice sound system makes that easier to bear.So if you know what stuff you want to fit (or already have it) why do you want pictures of someone elses setup?
This isn't a loaded question, i'm genuinely interested.... how old are you? Is there a clue in your username?
