Smoking

Wat is the main cause for these cars to smoke alot cus mine does but I dont no if it's cus it's not been out and had a run in ages basically I've owned it for bout three weeks and most of the time it's barely made it off choke??

what colour is the smoke, and when does it do it ?

do you find any coolant missing ?

Have not checked coolant well smokes all the way through a bit but it does it most just on idling?

I got told by a mate that it could be valve stems but wanted to find out for sure ?

This time of year it could actually be condensation in the exhaust system. - Does it do it when it's cold, but stop after you've been running the engine for half an hour or so?

It may sound stupid, but you'd be surprised the number of times that comes up as a fault.
