slightly higher idle when warm

really happy with the way my R is running at the mo except for one thing .
idleing at 850rpm until the water temp is above 88 degrees ( reading temp and revs on power fc ).
once it is above this temp my idle increases to 1100rpm ..
I know this is a normal rpm for a pulsar

But why would the engine being warmer effect the idle so much .
doesn't hunt or splutter just sits abit higher

yeah used every day do about 80 miles a week .

Just been out and checked and cleaned earths on engine ..
will let you know if it's made a difference later
