single throttle body conversion?

would i gain any extra bhp and lbft by changing to a single throttle body set up? ie make more power on less boost?

Also if i was to do this does anyone know how to do it? ie what do u do to the standard in let manifold and what do u do about the tps? Does anyone have full intructions and a list of parts needed for this mod. Any help would be much appreciated.

i havnt actually seen it yet as its still at the tuners but, mines got a 100mm throttle body off a V8 BMW, you need to strip the mani down and have all the butterflies removed from each port, but you'll be left with holes which will need filling in, you can bore the ports out a tiny bit but i think the gain would be minimal,

get in touch with Harold at Ashford motorsport thats who done mine, be prepared to be baffled by him tho, he's a proper mad scientist. :lol: plus he'll want to turn your 'R' into a Ford.

Not worth it unless ur running over 500bhp or dragging, will lose throttle response.
