Hello folks, newbie on this forum, Old hat on the NPOC.

I have a GTI-R silly head, i know it will fit and have all the appropriate bits and bobs (well most of them).

But what i want to know is it worth doing any head work on GTI-R head?

If so what? and Where are the best places to do it?

get it flowed while its off well worth doing and some cams if u can be botered with reshimming but standard cams are pretty good

As above, Gas flowed, cams and you may as well match the combustion chambers to give you an even coppression ratio.

Most tuners only mildly polish the head(not port).Fitting new cams is a real pain in the a**e with a GTiR head as it will need reshimming and they are like the proverbial hens teeth.

Doing the shims is not that bad, just takes time and you need to do a bit of maths home work. :!: :lol:
