Short seatbelts

Not that I'm a pie eater but tried to put my daughters baby seat in the car for the first time and the seat belt was only just long enough. Really had to pull it tight to get her in.

Anyone else have this problem? Not happy with the fit. Anyone know of another car I could get a longer belt from?!?

I'm going to assume you meant "short" belts and change the title of the thread.

I think you can get extenders can't you; they're just a section of webbing with both ends on it?

Both seem to be as short as each other.

Yes I did mean short

Didn't know you could get extenders. I'll have a search for them later.

Maybe I'm wrong... I've seen them, but perhaps I'm confused with those things they give extra-wide people on aeroplanes; it's the same principle, but maybe they aren't road legal. - Google gives result though.

Yeah found them but wouldn't work with our car seat. Think I would need to replace the whole unit, one out a Skyline could be longer.
