Bought this car of DANDUD on here back in may and have absolutely loved every second of it. She is just so much fun to drive. Never misses a beat. Really have proved to my friends who are evo in the head that pulsars can be reliable if there looked after properly. For example my friends 407 bhp evo 5 has broke everytime we have went head to head and this pulsar comes out on top with such less power. Proper got the respect for pulsars given again which is a bonus in my eyes. Loved this car ever since i was 12. My father has had 3 and still has one running high 400+.
Anyways im selling up now because im taking a new step and moving to the US.. Thought about importing her but its just too much hassle and cash so shes free to anyone who wants a reliable quick wee car. Im just going to copy and paste the spec from the advert few threads down as its still the same as she has no needed anything. However i have done a full service in that time even though it probably wasnt needed and i will be putting 2 new front tyres on her before she goes. So here we go.

Brought into the UK in 1999. First registered here: 12/07/1999 Built in August 1992 on a K reg.

Sunroof model and it had air con till I removed it.

Rear windows and sun roof tinted
Genuine Nissan wind deflectors*
Laguna splitter

Gearbox was stripped and rebuilt with new bearings and 2 new syncros in 2009.
Fairly recent master and slave cylinder

Strengthened clutch fork

4 point harness on drivers seat as well as standard belts all round
2 pod pillar gauge holder thingy with boost gauge and AEM wideband AFR gauge
Battery in box in boot along with washer bottle
Good stereo set-up with 4 channel Clarion amp in boot driving 6x9's on parcel shelf and 6” clarion components in sound deadened front doors, clarion head unit with AUX in and hard drive.

Mapped by Matt at TRL Halifax making 333bhp and 300lb ft at the fly. Spools up ridiculously quick with the smaller exhaust housing (20psi by 3000rpm). If you changed the exhaust housing for the 0.86 and remapped it she would make 370ish at a guess on the same turbo. But I prefer the minimal-lag approach. Boost peaks at 20psi and drops to 16psi higher in rev range as the turbo is maxed out. Injectors were at 90% duty IIRC at standard base fuel pressure. The torque curve is pretty flat so i rairly have to go above 5k rpm.

The car went to the bodyshop just before i bought it having had both sills replaced with new Nissan items so the shell is solid and been properly undersealed!

Only bad points I suppose are of course the inevitable REAR ARCHES. Dont think anyone can dodge that bullet. But nothing your man Scott Berry couldnt sort out.. as this car was pretty much booked in to him to have them fixed before i decided to move away. But back on subject there’s a few light scratches here and there and stone chips on the bonnet and front bumper but what do you expect for a 22 year old Nissan Sunny. Its been a drivers car not a show n shine.

Shes MOT'd till april 2015 and im not sure how this new electronic tax thing works out yet but the tax runs out this month. im sure the new buyer has to tax the car now regardless. Anyways if you have anymore questions let me know.

Some pics of how she sits just now.

So im looking for £4000.

Nope turbo has now failed, going to order one this week.

Be worth it in the long run if your dad is going to keep it.

Hi Steveo,

Where about near Glasgow? I'm in Paisley so not too far away. How many owners has the car had and do you have any pictures of underneath it? Also, do you have the receipts for the engine work or any other work done to the car?

Thanks.
