Scotch locks for AVC-R fitting.

I'm about to wire in my AVC-R. I'm not happy with the 'splices' that came with it so want to use scotch locks instead. Has anyone else used these for a similar job ? Can't see a problem myself as they will make a good connection but, want to check first.

Cheers

do not use scotch locks, its the most bodgey thing you could do, do it properly by exposing the wire and soldering the avcr into the ecu loom. 8)
scotch locks not only cut through the insulation but also the wire! increasing the resistance! BAD VERY BAD!!!
