sard ebc help

ive posted a thread up before about my boost controller not working properly, and have finally found some instructions for it(in japanese but has english next to it in brief!)
its the SARD trigger ebc, and ive found that there is a wire missing from it and wanted to know what this actually does as the thing lights up and works but boost goes so high and then cuts out so im jerking about when its on! when off my car runs standard boost fine, had people saying it sounds like a boost leak but how can it be when its perfect without it on! so any thoughts is appreciated:thumbsup:

the controller also works as a boost gauge and you can see the numbers goin from 1bar up to 2.5 and then the car jerks, coughs,splutters etc when you floor it
2.5bar is the max setting!

if the car is npot tuned to run 2.5 bar the car will miss and be running very lean?

If its splattering its miss firing due to high boost levels.

i know, i mean the controller is set at 1.2bar, but the max setting on the controller is 2.5
the car is supposed to be running 1.2 bar but when i watch the numbers, they go past 1.2 up much higher and i know this is why the cars fookin about but i want to know why its going past the setting of 1.2bar!
and what is the amlog output on the back of the ebc,(pic2 under the boost nipple) as that wire is not there!
