Rubbing while breaking

Intermittent problem, only the front drivers side wheel does it at the moment.

It sounds like a metal on metal rubbing or whirring. Only comes on while breaking sometimes, and occasionally will rub after but go away.

How do I check pad thickness? Ruling that out, how would I check the wheel bearing?

I would definately change the pads first also check the discs for scoring!

Bent wishbone? Mine did that after I twated a kerb.

Last time I had this was in my old Sunny. Turns out the pads were worn down to their metal holder so that was grinding against the disc. Cant comment if its the same on the Pulsar though
