Removing a short shifter

I'm pretty fed up with the short shifter on my car and want to take it off and replace for a standard jobby.

Is this relatively easy to do and where would I get a standard one from? Nissan??

It's a tomei short shifter by the way.

It's a pretty easy job matey but you will need a good jack and some good axle stands as you have to lay right under the car to undo some of the bolts.

I'd just pm some of the people braking cars for a replacement fella.

Cheers Rob - It's in for a service and new master cylinder this week so I'll leave it to my mechanic I think.

He can do it whilst it's on the ramp.
