removed air con, need new alternator belt part number.

hey all,

rebuilding things on the car atm and i need a new alternator belt..
i have removed the air con so the old belt is faaaar too long for the job it used to do.
i know that the part i need is something like a micra alternator belt. but does anyone have the part numbers for the exact correct belt to fit on my car without the air con in place anymore???

please help, i cant test drive my car till i get this sorted :(

halfords 845e i think :shock:

do a search on forum, part numbr is there sumwhere :wink:

i did about 5 searches as i know this has been covered many many times before.. but i got the same bloody posts each time i searched..

i have found the numbers via the yahoo gtir list. they are (for future ref)

bosch 4pk845 or 4pk830
and
nissan ay140-40830
and
halfords 845e (as above :) )

hope this helps someone else at some point..

Need to buy this belt, above are quoted various numbers 830,837,845 think these refer to the length of belt,my question therefore is what number allows for best adjustment (ie when you put on the belt you still have adjustment, midpoint)15mm could be a difference Thanks :wink:
