Release Bearings

As some of you may know I'm expecting over 500bhp after a remap in the new year. My question is this - I'm taking the box off to replace my release bearing, will a standard one do the trick?

I would imagine so as it's just a spinning bearing really but I've read of an OS Giken bearing - would I see any benefit to using this over a standard Nissan item?

Well I'm using an AP Twin Paddle clutch - the pressure plate is the regular depth as a standard release bearing is in there presently. I just wonder if it would make a difference with big power.

Unless you have a problem with the stock bearing then i don't see any reason to change it.

I would use an
NTN bearing - p/# GSB 397 (alternative # FCR62-32-14 or FCR62-32-14/2E)
They are renown as being the strongest 'standard' bearing on the market, even over Nissan.
Whatever you do, DO NOT buy an SKF bearing, it will give you grief.
