Rebuilding a GTiR Engine

i am in thinking rebuilding my spare GTiR engine.
just wondering what part i should change or get in middle of rebuilding
intent to retain everything stock as possible

what in my mind is
for Bottom Block

1) New Main Bearing, Conrod Bearing
2) New water pump
3) New Oil pump gear
4) Complete New Gasket kit minus turbo gasket and block gasket
will using steel gasket for this part
5) Crankshaft balanced and knifedge ( or lightened ? )

Any Suggestion of Piston and rod ?
Will Z32 turbo piston is better than GTiR ?

Head.
1) port and polish intake and exh port
2) Aftermarket Cam but retaining OEM Valve spring, retainer
3) Complete New Gasket kit

Any other suggestion for rebuild part since need to order everything in one shot ?
or it is proper to use back current gasket Kit ?
i have no idea on the part price but i believe it not expensive as aftermarket except the metal gasket for block

considering there's a few cheap forged piston kits starting to appear, you'd be a daft not to put them in, even if you never venture past 1 bar they are still massive piece of mind. :D

Oh wait a minute, i thought u're very ngam with ss racing.
Order lah Tomei stroker kit.
:p

Oh btw when u mentioned con rods i believe there isnt aftermarket ones from Jap.
though i heard PAR and Crower makes them.

And yeah no NISMO bearings too.

Oh btw why u wanna rebuild your spare engine?
Currently how many u have now? 5 halfcuts?

Oh btw u going for F1 this weekend? Will be dropping u a phone line keke.

i would recomend putting in a new starter motor in
as if they go you may need to take the engine out so when i did mine i put a new one in ##

not even want to use aftermarket thing except cam
did you got any idea where you get your new bearing ?

up to date i have 1 clip now, 3 spare engine
I intend to rebuild one only since it is come with complete block but empty head.

I'd put new timing chain guides in aswell as they've modified them.Although a little pricey :(
