Rear window demister not working.

The connectors receive power but there must be a break along the lines, i think their was stickers on the window before and have damaged the lines removing them.
Is there anything to repair the lines, or is it just best to change the whole window or finally just changing the whole tail gate?

you can buy a repair kit, not sure how effective it will be.
