Rear section Roll Cage

Is there a rear section roll cage available in Ali that has a unboltable diagonal cross section so the rear seats can still be used when needed.

roll cage in ali is like a chocolate tea pot mate kierons the only one silly enough to have one of those (he says its to strengthen shell LOL)

if its solid ally i suppose it would be fairly strong, but not strong enough for impact.

i think ally rollcage is a waste of money.

There's alot of different grades of ally out there (well in the RAF at least) some are tuff as nails.;-)

the fact its tubular also makes it alot stronger than you'd imagine :thumbsup:

Yep, a tube is stronger than a solid bar according to the engineering stuff I did (many years ago)

alloy rollbars are totally fine most strut braces are alloy and they work very well
a tube is a load bearing structure and will stiffen /protect passenger cells perfectly well

I always liked the idea of an Alloy roll cage as long as it was in a proper high grade alloy, but they were banned for racing around 15 years ago. Shame as they were a lot lighter.
