Rear plate on one line?

Anyone know where I can get a rear number plate with the whole reg on a single line, import size? Mine looks poo on 2 lines, as the letters are huge and the top line nearly overlaps the bottom line, most plate makers do it on 2 lines, is it legal on one line? I'm guessing the characters will be below the legal size to get them to fit, but am willing to risk it!

Cheers lads, managed to sort one now, show plates only tho obviously, any one had much grief off the police for it all on one line?

if you have the correct spacing fr the letters/numbers then you shouldnt have any problems off the police. my number plate is all on one line and all the letters/numbers are spaced the same and I get the odd pull from the police. I keep my originall plates in the car though just incase.

As I make the tailgate in G/F I am looking out for a UK Sunny number plate surround to try out. I cant see why its any different as the tailgate panel is the same for both cars.
