Rear driveshaft removal

What is the best way to remove rear driveshafts please?
Without removing the wheel hub and brake caliper altogether, that is. If I remove the bolts holding it to the strut, will it tilt out enough to clear the driveshaft? Or do I need to unbolt the radius arms and parallel links - and does that method also allow enough movement outwards?

I had a go at this today and found the long through bolt holding both parallel links to the hub will need to come off. With everything else unbolted the hub tilts forward nicely but there isn't -quite - enough 'angle' in the CV joints to clear the hub. That's what it looks like to me. Is that normal or am I doing it wrong??

(that 22mm long through bolt was where I was defeated after it chewed up one of my cheap sockets and refused to budge otherwise)
