Re-threading...

I need to get a thread rethread on my transfer box. Don’t fancy just re-tapping it.

Was thinking about Helicoiling, but heard of this new method called 'Timecert'. Anyone know any more about it?

I know the thread will then be steal rather than alloy, so will be stronger than stock...

I think helicoils are made from steel iirc and I've never had any problems with them before
Not heard of this new one before :?

Never heard of this new method, but we use a lot of helicoils at work and never have a problem with them,

Had my turbo helicoiled by TD and now its come out :( so gotta get it redone. If no one else has had trouble then its worth doing again.
