Rattly timing chain

Ever since I got the car I noticed once it has been on a decent drive and is properly warmed up the timing chain is quite rattly. Now I know these are quite rattly engines due to the chain, but I reckon it could probably be quieter.

I have heard the timing chain tensioner or something mentioned before as a common problem.

Is this cheap and easy to sort, or is it just one of those things?

Thanks

Cheap, well u never know with Nissan, its situated at the rear of the block behind the timing chain. Should be easy to change it if u can get to it....or ur chain runneres may be worn.

Thanks Nad,

I will see if I can get some diagnosis done, it might even be the chain itself.

Its not doing any harm, and your average joe wouldn't notice, but I reckon if it doesn't do it when its cold, it probably shouldn't do it when its warm.
