hiya all ive recently got a gtir and it sounds tappy as fook is this normal :?

they use a timing chain mate that makes sum noise also the injectors are tappy especiallly if the bigger ones but the engine is quite rattly tho but without hearing it i dnt think anyone can really help ya find a local gtir owner and compare

somtimes people using 10w/40 have noisy tappets.. if you have that try some 10w60 like millers or castrol at the next oil change.

Yep timing chain and solid lifters make the engine sound noisy, may need reshimming tho...?
