Nice one 8) I have found there to be very few gti-r's used in motorsport..
There's a guy in scotland that does some of the scottish stage rallies but i couldn't tell you how to contact him i'm afraid  ..
Steve Ferguson does extremely well at circuit racing and is very helpful on the phone.. this is his web address but it doesn't seem to be working..

Good luck and let us know how you get on

tarmac car

Mines 85% finished now. Hoping to complete it in the new year. Going to be a tarmac stagecar, clubman spec. As much group A stuff as I can afford. Will post a piccy when its done and report on progress, if anyones interested.

I was expecting there to be more GTi-R's rallying in Europe (was hoping to get some info :p ) I will be setting up a GTi-R for rally this year in Canada, Nissan will finally be represented in Canadian Rally 8) .

I use a garage for my servicing that look after a lot of servicing & support of rally cars. I'm only taking the 'R there as they maintain(ed?) a GTI-R in F2 competition, so hopefully know them well enough to be worth the 40minute drive.

Will ask around & see what I can come up with, going over there later in the week. ;)

Not sure how!

Two ongoing jobs I could do with help with;

i) Wiring in an old SAFC and struggling to get it working
ii) Multichecker mostly works, but not fully.

Ive posted but got no reply, yet.

I will post some photos, but it doesn't look like a show car... Perhaps I could email them to someone to put on the thread

safc wiring

Ive looked at the Apexi site, and this lists the safc as having a brown and black connection to earth.
Mine doesn't.
Maybe mine is an early version. It has a code on it 9612-0110 which may be december 96 manufactured. 110th one made.
It has the following wire colours. whit , blue yellow green black red.
I have wired it AFM in, no con, AFM out, rpm, earth, 12V. using above sequence.
The airflow signal at tickover is 96%, or with the SAFC bypassed 2.3%
Somethings not right. I'm hoping its just wiring connections.
Anybody help out?

Safc

Mine is the old fashioned one with 5 rotary knobs on the front and no display. No matter where they are set it gives 98% flow.
The DIP switches are correct, at least I think they are, from what I info I have.
