Which is closer to stock wheels size. 205/60R15 or 205/45R16. I have 60 series tires because my 50 wore out and i needed some cheep use 15 to drive my car from Okinawa to Tokyo. I bought some cheep 16 with 45 on them yesterday (will be picking them up tomarrow). I will be ordering some new 40 for the 16 later. But for right now, which is closer to stock?

I have 205/50/R16 and they're too big and rub on the wheel arches. - They replaced 195/50/R16s which did fit because it's a percentage of the width rather than a measurement.

According to the little flash widget that I have, 205x60x15 is 9.98% larger in rolling radius than the stock 195x55x14.

205x45x16 is only 3.64% larger. I have fitted 195x45x16 which is only 2.06% larger ;)

The closest 16" tyre size to the stock 14" is 205x40x16. This is 0.05% larger.

Hope this helps.
