Quaife or Jack Knight??

Hello,

What prices has everyone bought their Quaife gearsets/boxes? Sorry if this is repetitive as I've asked this question twice just recently; but people seem to be secretive about this!

And has anyone used a Jack Knight gearbox for the Pulsar?

My car is now off the road and I need to get it fixed!

Mine was £1566 but that was 3 years ago and you have to add fitting to that , I also wasn't aware that jack knight did a gearset for the
pulsar?, If so please post details as it would give other members more choice .

Do they do the uprated mini boxes? not heard of them doing a Gtir box.

yeah they do a straightcut Mini 5-speed. If you thought a standard (real) Mini's gearbox made some noise... :shock:

I think they're around £2100 from Hiteq inc vat.

about 2300 fitted and rebuilt with new syncros etc

My box is at Hiteq just now having the Quaife kit fitted...

Think it is 2300 all fitted but you may also want to replace things like the baulk rings, selector forks, bearings etc... This all adds to the cost...


Think its £2700 for a fully rebuilt box with all new internals...
