I owned a pulsar bout a year ago now but sold it due to the amount of problems i had wiv it, clutch went first, then the gearbox (£1200) and then to top it off the engine went bang!!!

So I sold it and brought myself a saff cossie but now im thinking bout getting another pulsar..

Wots the chances of me having all those problems again? Are they normally that bad and unreliable?

sounds like you tuned your old R for the short term,(silly boost top mounted) my mates drive cossies, i'll tell you why cos when it breaks they fix it themselves thats what proper cossie drivers do. Spend the money and you get what you pay for, don't spend much don't expect much.. All fast cars require mainternance and respect if you dont have that don't bother getting one. 8)

I payed £4500 for the pulsar and it woz off my mate so u cant really say it woz a cheapy.. It woz only running 1.0 bar of boost and set up by SE NISSAN so it werent running alot of boost..

By the way I owned a 2wd cossie and shes pumping out over 360bhp and the reason why i call myself scobbyslayer is coz i dont like them and I love slaying them, I thought all pulsar owners do..

So I take it U boys think I should keep the cossie???

You'd be unlucky if it did happen again, but it could happen. SENissan, now defunct, didn't have a very good rep on any Nissan forum. They did seem to pick their tuning game up abit towards the end. Well, Turblio was happy with their work.

Yeh I gotta admit SE NISSAN took ages sorting out my gearbox (2 months).. Didnt they change the name to NISTEK?

They charged me £1200 for it, is that bout the right price for a recon box?

Wheres a good tuning place in essex for pulsars?

Yep, they changed their name to Nisstec. 2 months, they took over 6 to make me a sodding c/f bonnet and then it was sent straight back

Not sure on the price being good or not, guess it depends how many new bits went into it. :?
