power steering

Hey,

Can you tell me if the power steering on GTI-R is naturally quite heavy??

Mine isn't.
Check your fluid level and belt tension are OK.

check your tyre pressures as well, if you're running wider wheels than standard this could effect it too.

you should be able to turn the wheel with one finger when stationary.

Cheers for the replys. Actually think its fine just a bit para i think my mechanic friend said it was fine.

Yeah, its not as light as modern cars but i prefer it as it has a bit more feel
