Power FC = Std map?

Hi,
has the Apexi Power FC also the std. map in it?

I believe it has Apexi's version of the std map

if you have a power fc then you will want a good map on it properly tuned.

Not much point having it otherwise is there???

PS - if you are running with it fitted and not mapped, if the engine light flashes that means detonation.... this is bad...

Agree with Fazz, it's pointless running it with the standard map.

My std. ECU died last week.
It is not worth to get a second hand one, which will cost me about 50 Pounds and still has the speed limiter in it. I want to run a bigger turbo in the near future, so I have to buy the power FC.

There are a good few options out there - emanage, aems, even SAFC depending on mods.
And 50quid for a standard ecu wouldn't be the worst would it?

You'll be looking at least 600 for Power FC, and another 400-500 on a good map...
Then a remap when you get turbo etc...

I'd get standard ecu till mods at stage of ecu required..

I think your messing the main point...
That`s why I asked if the power FC has the std. map.
Cause I know that it isn`t worth mapping the car on that stage of tuning.
