av still not found the problem, when driving my r it pulls ok in first but goin up through the grears it doesnt seem 2 pull as good. did a fault check its fine. its still running standard boost on the gauge it shows 0.7 bar. any ideas please?

Need a little bit more detail than that matey, from what you have said it sounds ok lol 1st gear always pulls harder due to ratio difference :lol:

the engine was out a few months ago 4 a new clutch when a got it back it didnt feel the same so a was told 2 changed all the vaccum hoses but still no joy.it got the turbo and manifold gaskets changed as well but when cumin in2 boost it sounds like a bit of a tractor

Cracked turbo housing? cracked manifold? those are probably the first things id be looking at.

Try looking at how tight the turbo to manifold bolts / nuts are as they always seem to work themselves loose. I ended up doubling up on the nuts to create a lock nut scenario as the usual plastic lock nut type just burned away with the heat.

so thats what it could be, where is the best place 2 take it a live in ayrshire in scotland the only place a know of is greer sport in kilburnie
